Prof. Molokhia obtained his PhD from the University of Michigan, USA 1973. Between 2007-2013, he chaired the Pharmaceutical Sector of the Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetic Chamber at the Egyptian Industry Union. Prof. Molokhia chaired several conferences organized among NODCAR, the MOH and the WHO. As consultant to the WHO, he presented training and consultations to nine countries in the EMRO region. Prof. Molokhia co-chaired 5 Egyptian-USP Symposia on “Science and Standards”. He acts as observer representing the Egyptian Chamber of Pharmaceuticals with the USP Convention.

He has served as a Delegate to the Unites States Pharmacopoeia Convention since 1985. Dr. Bleidt has delivered over 400 presentations and published nearly fifty works. Some of his publications include the books: Clinical Research in Pharmaceutical Development, Multicultural Pharmaceutical Education, and A Guide to the Top 200 Drugs. His Master Thesis was carried out in collaboration with Bayer Italia on "Near Infra Red Spectroscopy application to QA of solid dosage forms". In 2004 he received his Ph.D. form University of Parma(Italy) and University of Paris XI (France). His research project focused on "Functionalised metal nanoparticles for the treatment of solid tumors” and had as supervisors Prof. Paolo Colombo and Prof. Patrick Couvreur. During his Ph.D. he obtained a a grant from the French Association for the Research on Cancer (AIRC) to support his research. In 2005 he was researcher of the Italian Research Council (CNR) based at the National Institute of the Physics of the Matter (INFM, Parma). From the end 2005 till 2012 he was Assistant Professor at the Pharmaceutical Department of the University of Parma. From 2007 till 2012 he was Invited Professor at the University of Lyon (France) and the University of Strasbourg (France) delivering some lectures related to Pharmaceutical Nanotechnologies. In 2010 and 2011 he obtained the Brain Gain Grant from Malaysia Government and spent two months at the National Institute for Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals in Penang (Malaysia). From 2012 to 2014 he was Senior Lecturer at the Graduate School of Health of the University of Technology Sydney (Australia). Since January 2015 he is Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Parma following several research projects on drug administration by nasal and pulmonary routes and innovative delivery systems for the treatment of lung tumors. He is in charge of the subjects of Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Regulations and Manufacturing of Medicinal Products for the courses of Pharmacy and Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies at the Department of Food and Drug of the University of Parma. He authored more than 80 paper on international scientific journals, 6 book chapters and 6 patents on novel dosage forms.

In this context, he is known internationally for his expertise in the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV and for establishing the first HIV/AIDS antiretroviral drug access programs in Chile, Côte d’Ivoire, Uganda and Vietnam through the UNAIDS HIV Drug Access Initiative. He has studied abroad for two years with Dr. Irwin M. Arias as a postdoctoral fellow at the Tufts University School of Medicine (1997-1999). Prof. Sai is the (co)-author of 169 research articles, 18 reviews, 19 book chapter, 50 invited lectures and more than 540 abstracts presented domestic and international conferences. He was awarded the Young Investigator Award, Japanese Society for the Study of Xenobiotics in 2004 and the Young Investigator Award 2002 of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan, Hokuriku branch. His current research interests include: i) molecular biopharmaceutical study on metabolic enzymes and drug transporters as a molecular determinant of inter and intra-individual variability of drug efficacy, toxicity and disposition, ii) clinical pharmacokinetic study on monitoring and avoidance of adverse effect of drugs, iii) development of administration planning for proper use of drug, individualized medicine to improve QOL of patients. He is the current Board Director of the Japan Pharmaceutical Association, the Japanese Society of Hospital Pharmacists, and the Japanese Society of Pharmaceutical Health Care and Sciences.
