"Dr. Amr Saad is a globally recognized expert in pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, and strategic health governance, with over 26 years of leadership across Egypt and the Arab region. He holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Manchester and has participated in over 260 national and international conferences, publishing extensively in PubMed-indexed journals. As the founding head of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Vigilance Center (EPVC), Dr. Saad built Egypt’s national PV infrastructure from the ground up—establishing SOPs, ADR databases, WHO-UMC integration, and a nationwide yellow card system. He led national PV audits to evaluate system integrity, regulatory compliance, and risk-based performance across MAHs and healthcare institutions. He also spearheaded awareness campaigns, curriculum integration across 12 universities, and regulatory mandates requiring PV departments in all MAHs. Dr. Saad served among the main consultants for the establishment of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), leading the adoption of CTD/eCTD, pricing reforms, and drafting Egypt’s Strategic Health Map 2030. As Associate Minister of Health, he oversaw pharmaceutical sector reform, essential medicines lists, SSFFC countermeasures, and crisis management protocols. Regionally, he chaired the Arab League’s Higher Technical Committee for Medicines, authoring the Common Arab Guidelines for Pharmacovigilance and Bioequivalence, approved by Arab Ministers of Health. His harmonization efforts shaped cross-border regulatory alignment and institutional capacity-building. Dr. Saad also serves as a strategic consultant to multinational pharmaceutical companies, providing expert guidance to strengthen and optimize their pharmacovigilance infrastructures. He is the Founder and CEO of VigiHub® Consultancy and Training Agency, delivering over 460 workshops and training 15,000+ professionals across 20+ countries in PV, pharmacoepidemiology, and regulatory systems. Sherif Kamal is the Advisor of the Chairman of EHA board for medication management and pharmacy affairs He earned his BS in Pharmacy 1998, an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy and is currently a PhD candidate at the Cairo University School of Pharmacy. Sherif has also completed a visiting fellowship at St. Jude’s Children Hospital in the United States in 2008. He is a certified Professional trainer by the AUC and made a healthcare management diploma in AUC with the thesis title :Pharmacy Digitalization - Drug Information and Pharmacy Resource Services For more than 20 years, Sherif has led a team that implemented clinical pharmacy services at various hospitals throughout Egypt and the region . He is the recipient the Egyptian Hospital Pharmacist Association Award and founder of the Egyptian Association of Clinical Pharmacists in 2010 He is a member of several international organizations including the International Society for Oncology Pharmacists, the European Society of Clinical Pharmacy, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacist, and the American College of Pharmacy. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Pharmacy Practice to teach pharmacy students at Pacific University School of Pharmacy. His teaching expertise is in biochemistry and pharmacotherapy and his research spans pharmacy practice, biomedical & clinical sciences, and educational research and outcomes. Dr. Joshua Tanner

Dr. Joshua Tanner is a medical doctor and AI systems engineer. He received his training at Stanford, where he served as Co-Executive Director of HealthAI and taught his own graduate course, Deep Learning in Medicine. He has spent eight years in AI, building more than 30 systems across 10 countries in areas including computer vision, natural language, and graph neural networks. His work now centres on AI in regulated industry. He built a core layer of the AI agent verification engine used by enterprises such as Google, WPP, Moderna, and the UK government. Most recently he has worked with TechVolution to develop automation workflows for the pharmaceutical sector, and he is currently the Head of AI at Nexian, which builds governance and compliance infrastructure for AI and agentic workflows for regulated industries.

Following BIOS’s acquisition by ZainTECH, Adam became Chief of Cloud Services, leading cloud strategy and operations across the region. Today, Adam is Co-Founder of Nexian, an AI governance company helping organisations build, automate and govern AI safely at scale. He is also COO and Board Member of The Ten Percent Club and an active investor and advisor across technology and emerging businesses. Adam combines deep technology expertise with a strong commercial and operational track record, specialising in building teams, taking complex technologies to market and scaling businesses across multiple geographies.

Mr. Martin Heitmann

Martin Heitmann is a trained Business Mathematician, holding both B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Mannheim. Already during his studies, he specialized in optimization, probability theory and statistics. Through his first roles in consulting, he gained deep experience on data and digital technologies, including solution integration, software engineering, IT architecture and integration, data science, and reliable use of AI across industries. His expertise is augmented by project management skills, both in traditional settings as well as in agile, being a certified Professional Scrum Product Owner and Professional Scrum Master. Now with a focus in the Life Sciences, Martin fuses business acumen, technology expertise and regulatory understanding to empower life science organizations advancing their data and digital capabilities. As Managing Director of MH Consulting & Advisory GmbH, he covers various areas including Strategy and Governance, Quality Management System Transformation and Extension, AI Enablement and Upskilling, Platform Architecture and Toolset Advisory as well as Project Management, Validation Support and Regulated Company and Vendor Alignment Services. In the collaborative life science community, Martin serves in various roles, including steering committee member of GAMP® D-A-CH and Secretary of the GAMP® Global Special Interest Group Software Automation & Artificial Intelligence. He has contributed over 2 dozen publications in renowned journals, with a dedicated focus on the use of AI in GxP areas. He co-led the initiative that resulted in the landmark publication of the ISPE GAMP® Guide Artificial Intelligence, in addition to various GAMP® Good Practice Guides. Martin regularly contributes to major industry conferences, such as ISPE Annual Meetings and ISPE Europe Annual Conference, and regularly co-chairs the GAMP® D-A-CH Post-Conference on the use of Artificial Intelligence in GxP areas.
