Dr. Albert Wertheimer has been active in sociobehavioral and administrative pharmacy research and education for more than 30 years. He earned a pharmacy degree at the University of Buffalo, an M.B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his Ph.D. at Purdue University. In addition, he completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in the department of social medicine at St. Thomas” Hospital Medical School of the University of London. He has directed nearly 100 Ph.D. students and more than that number of master’s students. He is the author or editor of 40 books, numerous book chapters and about 430 journal articles. He has lectured or consulted in about 75 countries, and he holds visiting professor appointments at universities in Mexico, Taiwan, Turkey, Slovenia and China. He performed pioneering work in the area of social and behavioral sciences in pharmacy and in more recent years has conducted research in pharmaco-economics, outcomes research, and health policy analysis. Prior to his appointment at NSU, he has been a professor at Temple University, dean of the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, a researcher at Merck and Company, a vice president of First Health, Inc., a Pharmacy Benefit Manager and a professor and director of graduate studies at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Wertheimer has received many awards and recognitions including fellowships from the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and the International Pharmacy Federation (FIP). He is Scheele Laureate and an honorary member of several professional societies. He has been a study section member/grant reviewer for the US NIH and for AHRQ. Current research interests include pharmaceutical counterfeiting, off label prescribing and cost:benefit studies.

John Bell is a Practitioner/Teacher in Primary Health Care and Professional Services at the Graduate School of Health, University of Technology Sydney. He is also Corporate Relations Consultant to the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) and Principal Adviser to PSA’s Pharmacy Self Care Program. John has a community pharmacy practice in the eastern suburbs of Sydney John is a former National President of the PSA and President of the Australian College of Pharmacy Practice. He was Vice President of the Federation Internationale Pharmaceutique (FIP) from 2006 to 2014; and formerly President (1999-2003) and subsequently Secretary (2003-2007) of the Commonwealth Pharmacists Association (CPA). He is currently a member of the Global Pain Faculty and of the Global Respiratory Infection Partnership – international multidisciplinary groups established to address, respectively, the issues of pain management and of antibiotic stewardship. Peter Pitts is President and co-founder of the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest. He also serves as a Visiting Professor at University of Paris School of Medicine. Pitts lives in New York City Professor Pitts is a former member of the United States Senior Executive Service and Associate Commissioner of the US Food & Drug Administration where he served as senior communications and policy adviser to the Commissioner. He supervised FDA's Office of Public Affairs, Office of the Ombudsman, Office of Special Health Issues, Office of Executive Secretariat, and Advisory Committee Oversight and Management. He served on the agency’s obesity working group and counterfeit drug taskforce. He is a member of the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences (CIOMS) Expert Working Group to help advance patient involvement in the development and safe use of medicines. (CIOMS is an international, non-governmental, non-profit organization established jointly by WHO and UNESCO in 1949.) "Professor Robert D. Sindelar, Ph.D., FFIP, FCAHS Dr. Sindelar is a Professor and Dean Emeritus, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of British Columbia (UBC). Dr. Sindelar is also an elected fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, and an elected fellow of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). Currently, he serves as the Chair of the FIP “Global Pharmacy Observatory Data & Intelligence Presidential Commission, to provide strategic advice on the development of the Global Pharmaceutical Observatory working with FIP stakeholders including WHO. He is also the Head of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Athens Institute for Education and Research. Professor Sindelar previously served as Vice President of Innovation, Research & Academic Affairs at Providence Health Care (PHC), President of the PHC Research Institute and Associate Dean Research in the UBC Faculty of Medicine (2013-2016). He is a founder of the Centre for Drug Research and Development (formerly CDRD, now called adMare BioInnovations), a national not-for-profit drug development and commercialization centre. Also, he has served as President of the Global Drug Commercialization Centre (GDCC)-China, and Vice President, GDCC-Worldwide (2017-2019), a translational medicine endeavor that facilitates the innovative development of healthcare initiatives. In these various roles, he continues to contribute to health science research, health policy development, team-building, international partnerships, as well as strategic innovations. Dr. Sindelar completed a M.S. degree and a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry and Natural Products at the University of Iowa School of Pharmacy. His research expertise is in medicinal chemistry, computer-aided drug discovery, and pharmaceutical biotechnology. He is the recipient of several School and University-wide teaching honors and has co-edited 5 editions of the highly successful textbook entitled “Pharmaceutical Biotechnology: Fundamentals and Applications.” "

Barry A. Bleidt, PhD, PharmD, RPh, FAPhA. Dr. Bleidt is a Professor of Sociobehavioral and Administrative Pharmacy at Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy. He received his BS Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky, PhD in Pharmacy Healthcare Administration from the University of Florida, and his PharmD from Xavier University of Louisiana. Barry has over forty years of professional experience in preventing drug use problems and substance misuse, looking at quality Pharmacy services, and looking towards the future of the profession. Dr. Bleidt served the past six years as Chair of the Program Committee for the Pharmacy Section of the American Public Health Association and fourteen years for the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Section, twenty-three years as the parliamentarian of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and twenty-one years as the Director of Continuing Pharmacy Education for the National Pharmaceutical Association. He has served as a Delegate to the United States Pharmacopoeia Convention from 1985 to 2020. Dr. Bleidt has also serves as the Coordinator of Certificate Programs at Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy and has been involved with the Immunization Certification Training of over 1,500 pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and student pharmacists. Dr. Bleidt has delivered over 400 presentations and published nearly fifty works. Some of his publications include the books: Clinical Research in Pharmaceutical Development, Multicultural Pharmaceutical Education, and A Guide to the Top 200 Drugs. Dr. Bleidt received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Pharmacy Section of the American Public Health Association. (2020) He was inducted as a Fellow into the APhA Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science in 2015 and as a fellow in the National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA) in 2016. He received the 2013 Chauncey I Cooper Award (the highest honor bestowed by NPhA), 2007 Award for Innovative and Exemplary Contributions to the NPhA Foundation, the Ilene B. Stiff Local Association President’s Award as the leader of the Virginia Pharmacists Association Local Association of the Year (2001), the James M. PharmD, FASHP, FMPA is Clinical Professor and Assistant Dean of Experiential Education and Community Engagement, College of Pharmacy, and Manager, Department of Pharmacy, Michigan Medicine, at the University of Michigan. He previously served in clinical practice and pharmacy leadership roles at the Detroit Medical Center, the Lafayette Clinic, and Henry Ford Health System, and held faculty appointments at Wayne State University. Walker received his BS in Pharmacy and PharmD from Wayne State University. He completed an ASHP‐ accredited residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and specialty residency in pediatric pharmacy practice at the University of Tennessee and LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center, Memphis, TN. He served a three‐year term on the American Society of Health‐System Pharmacists (ASHP) Board of Directors and is currently serving as President of the organization. His ASHP service includes Chair, Committee on Nominations; Commission on Affiliate Relations; ASHP Foundation Donor Retention Subcommittee; and Michigan Delegate to the House of Delegates. He recently served as Chair of and Board Liaison to the ASHP Task Force on Racial Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Walker has served in leadership positions in the Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA), and Michigan Society of Health‐System Pharmacists (MSHP). He received several awards from MSHP, including the 2008 MSHP Professional Practice Award, the 2010 MSHP Pharmacist of the Year Award, the 2017 MSHP Joseph A. Odis Leadership Award, and the 2022 MPA Pharmacist of the Year Award. He has been inducted into the MPA Hall of Honor and is recognized as a Fellow of both ASHP and MPA. His interests include pharmacy practice model development; assessment of the impact of pharmacists on patient outcomes; transitions of care; pediatric pharmacotherapy; experiential education and interprofessional education. He has authored numerous peer‐reviewed articles and book chapters, with publications appearing in American Journal of Health System Pharmacy, American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education, and Archives of Internal Medicine, Currents in Pharmacy Teaching and Learning and other journals. He is passionate about advancing pharmacy practice by innovating pharmacist services, evaluating pharmacists’ impact on patient care, and especially by integrating student pharmacists into practice models and interprofessional teams through work in experiential education"

Susan Oliveria's career as an epidemiologist spans more than 25 years in industry, non-profit and academia settings. In her current role as Chief Scientific Officer at Genesis Research she leads the scientific teams and activities focused on generating real-world evidence to improve patient outcomes. In her prior role as Practice Leader, Epidemiology & Drug Safety, Real World Solutions at IQVIA, she was responsible for leading and accelerating the growth of a practice that leveraged real-world evidence in regulated use cases and innovative study designs. Previously, she founded Epidemiology Research Group, was a co-founder of EpiSource, and held several academic positions and appointments at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Cornell University Medical School, Department of Public Health, and New York Medical College. She is a member of numerous medical and scientific societies, is on the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology's (ISPE's) RWE Task Force, Duke-Margolis Workgroup: Regulatory Acceptability of RWD/E Workgroup and her research has been published extensively.

Thuraya bumozah is a clinical pharmacist and the director of academic and training affaires at the Maternity and children hospital (MCH), Alhasa Thuraya earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with honors from King Saud University in 2004 , her Master of Clinical Pharmacy from College of Pharmacy, The University of Queensland, Australia in 2010 and Master of medical education king Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in 2022 Dr.Thuraya has more than 18 years’ experience working at Ministry Of Heath as hospital pharmacist; 12 years of them as a clinical pharmacist in the Pediatric intensive care unit. In Thuraya participated in a large number of local scientific meetings as a speaker or organizer. she participated in the preparation of continuing educational program, for pharmacy staff, and staff development and was appointed with several administrative pharmacy positions as a supervisor. Dr. Sultan Alshehri earned his Ph.D. degree in 2015 from School of Pharmacy, University of Mississippi, USA. Following his return to Saudi Arabia, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University. Since then, he has been involved in teaching multiple courses for undergraduate and graduate students. His research interests include solid dosage forms, solid dispersion, formulation design, bioequivalence analyses and industrial pharmacy. On the administrative level, Dr. Alshehri was actively involved early on in many committees and councils in and outside the college, like Saudi Food and drug Administration (SFDA) and more, which has leading him to be nominated as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality, School of Pharmacy, Almaarefa University, besides his aforementioned academic and research activities. Moving forward, Dr. Alshehri has promoted to Associate Professor and continues to expand his knowledge base in the pharmaceutical industry field.

Dr. Ahmed Alamer has earned his Bachelor Degree in pharmacy, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in June 1996. Right after his graduation, he joined, Tabuk Pharmaceutical Factory, Jan 1997 to Sep. 1997 as medical representative. He is currently a senior pharmacist at National Guard Health Affairs - Primary Health care Jan 1998 till now. Dr. Alamer has actively involved in the DUPHAT Organizing Committee as a team leader to coordinate the pharmacy professionals’ participation in DUPHAT for more than 15 years. Dr. Alamer is active member of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society and have been elected as a member of Al Hasa Pharmacy Club Adminsitaraive Board, and chosen as Chairman of Media & Publication Comiitteee of Al-Hasa Pharmacy Club. He is also member of patient medication safety committee in King AbdulAziz Hospital as representative of primary health care center, committee for preparing the center for accreditation as a family medicine training center, it's already has accredited since 2009. In addition, he is a member of Health promotion committee in primary health care center (activities organizer committee). On the international level, Dr. Alamer is member of scientific committee of Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference (DUPHAT) 2010 – 2016. Dr. Alqurain, an assistant professor of pharmacology and therapeutics at Almana College for Health Sciences. He graduated from University of South Australia with a doctorate degree in pharmacology (therapeutics), and holds a bachelor degree in pharmacy from Curtin University and a master degree in palliative care from Flinders University. He is a registered senior pharmacist in Saudi Arabia and a researcher pharmacist in Australia. Dr. Alqurain worked in different clinical settings, ICU, Palliative care, Geriatric, Internal Medicine. His research interests include quality use of medicines, medication safety, pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenetics. He is also interested in optimising drug therapy for older people while addressing issues related to polypharmacy, inappropriate prescribing and deprescribing. Currently, he is a member of the following research centres, the Therapeutic Research Centre in Queensland, the Basil Hetzel Institute at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide, and the Health and Biomedical Innovation centre, Adelaide.

Dr. Emad Alsarraf is an assistant professor in the department of pharmacy practice in the Faculty of Pharmacy (FoP) in the Kuwait University (KU). Dr. Alsarraf kicked off his pharmacy education in University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom. He then perused his path toward clinical pharmacy by completing a Master degree in Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Central London (UCL) and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science (MCPHS). This all paid off when he was being awarded his degrees with ‘Honorary’ merit. Dr. Alsarraf recently joined the faculty following his completion of residency in emergency medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) in Boston the USA. He first worked as a clinical pharmacist in 2017 and later specialized to emergency medicine in 2021. During his time, he engaged in pharmaceutical care plans for patients with critical illness and urgent medical needs at bedside. He also authored and co-authored of academic articles, mostly in emergency medicine field.

Ali Abdullah, RPh. Ali Abdullah is the head of Total parenteral nutrition unit in the Pharmacy Department of Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospital. Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospital is considered as one of the biggest and major hospitals in Kuwait which serves a population of no less than 250,000. He leaded some teams within the department such as participating in the scientific and the quality control teams. RPh. Abdullah is also a visiting teaching assistant in the Pharmaceutical Science department in College of Health Science in Public Authority of Applied Education and Training. Alongside, RPh. Abdullah contributed in editing the 200 Common Drugs of Kuwait Booklet which is the most recent medicines references in Kuwait. Moreover, he also contributed in authoring in several articles in collaboration with Kuwait university. RPh. Abdullah graduated with MSc from Kings college of London which is one of the most distinguished schools of pharmacy worldwide.MPharm., M.Sc.

Dr. Ahmad Thuweni ALEnizi Graduated from the Royal college of surgeons in Ireland Dublin in 2001. He completed his post graduate training in internal medicine and rheumatology at McGill university in Montréal, certified in internal medicine and rheumatology and a fellow of the Royal college of physicians of Canada (2009). Dr Ahmad is also certified in internal Medicine and rheumatology from the American board of internal medicine (2007/2009) Dr Ahmad Th AlEnizi is the Former president of the Kuwait Association of Rheumatology (KAR) 2014-2017, and the former president of Kuwait Medical association (2018-2021). Dr Ahmad is a Member of the Kuwait association of Rheumatology (KAR) and an international fellow of the American college of Rheumatology (ACR). Dr Ahmad Th Alenizi is a Consultant Rheumatologist and head of Rheumatology unit and the day case unit in AL-Jahra Hospital in Kuwait. He is currently the head of the national ethical committee for human parts donations among non-relatives in Kuwait. He is an Author in 10s of studies and an active rheumatologist in local clinical trails. He has special interest in seronegative spondyloarthritis and vaccine use in rheumatic diseases.

She completed an IC3 certification in Information Technology and a twelve week online Post Graduate course in Renal Pharmacy offered by the School of Pharmacy at the University of Auckland. She received Bachelor of Pharmacy from Dubai Pharmacy College (UAE) in 2007. Currently, as HOD in Department of Pharmaceutical Care, she is responsible for strategic planning, implementation, co-ordination and management of all pharmaceutical care activities in primary health care in MOH. She is conscientious regarding the successful implementation of various MOH policies by developing a pathway of good teamwork between pharmacy professionals and healthcare supporters including doctors, nurses, other paramedics etc.

Zainab Al-Hashimy is a Sr. Specialized Pharmacist Plastic and Reconstruction surgery Department and Hand Surgery Department and a Ph.D. student at the University of Huddersfield, UK. She graduated from Ajman University of Science & Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates. Then, she joined Khoula Hospital, Ministry of Health, Oman in 2006. From then, she starts her journey in a Pharmacy career. She was active and fast learning in pharmacy management, and she uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. In fact, she got the first position as 2nd in charge of OPD pharmacies from 2006 to 2009. In 2009, she become head of the Inpatient Pharmacy until she went on to get her higher education in clinical pharmacy specialty which she was practicing the clinical pharmacy since 2008. She gets her MScs. Pharmacotherapy and Medicines Management. The University of Sunderland. Faculty of Applied Sciences. UK, 2011. Moreover, she was a member of the Education & Training committee of the pharmacy, the hospital information system committee, the Plastic and Reconstruction Department Meeting and in antimicrobial stewardship committee. In addition, she was a member of the task force committee to design the intervenes Therapy compendium for all healthcare practitioners in Oman in 2016. During her work, she participates in many conferences as a speaker. She has three published papers. In 2020, she become the chairperson of the Pharmacy Research committee. She ambitions to encourage all pharmacists to be involved in research and study. In the end, she is very happy to guide and help the one who needs her advice in research.
